Dare to be inspired! Dare to excel!

[4]A story.

He looks at me with his wide black eyes.

He comes close by and smiles lovingly.

I give in and allow myself to fall in his trap of love.

He comes closer and presses his cheek against mine.

Then he turns and opens his mouth.

And……………

OUCH!!!!!!!!

He does the “dash” word. (I mean, the 4 letter word that starts with ‘b’ and ends with ‘e’ with ‘i’ and ‘t’ in between in no particular order.)

I scream.

He laughs. And marches forward. I can see his eyes telling himself, “GO! GO! Bite for your dear life. AGAIN!!”

I save myself from the tornado and rescue inside the kitchen. I swiftly go through the boxes in the cabinet and I find 2 pieces of left over teething rusks from the last teething episode. By this time, the tornado is already near me. I hand the rusk over to him and he bites it with ALL his might. I hear the noise of the rusk being chewed and thank God that it was not my face being ingested.

And this is not the end of the story, it is just the beginning of the new teething era!
